Comments: Dr. Tamim truly saved my fathers life. My dad was diagnosed with brain cancer, and that tumor was creating very large blood clots in his legs. These clots could have caused a pulmonary embolism, so an IVC filter was inserted. His IVC filter filled up very quickly and his legs continued to swell until he could not walk anymore. He had extreme DVT. This is where we met Dr. Tamim. Dr. Tamim was able to complete a minimally invasive procedure called an AngioVac, to remove a massive amount of these clots. He also removed the old IVC filter and inserted a new one. This entire procedure (including prep) was completed in about 5-6 hours. Three days later, my dad was released from the hospital. It has now been 4 days since he was released, and he is starting to walk on his own again. Amazing! Dr. Tamim was also so understanding and kind and caring throughout this whole process. He would show up when he said he would, he would answer all of our questions, and he checked up on dad many times during his stay in the hospital. He also always had a smile on his face. My family feels extremely blessed to have met Dr. Tamim and to have had him perform the surgery. Thank you so much, Dr.Tamim!! Much love from my entire family ❤️ ❤️
